STEP 11 – SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS

We want you to get the best benefits from using CLEMENTINE Essential Oil so here are a few things that you will need to be aware of. Since Essential Oils are all so very concentrated, less is always more. It is very easy to add more to a recipe for food or topical use but difficult or next to impossible to remove it once it’s been applied.

As with other Citrus Essential Oils, CLEMENTINE Essential Oil is a photosensitive Essential Oil. After using a photosensitive Essential Oil, it is advised to avoid direct sunlight for up to 12 hours after its use. This also extends to artificial light sources such as tanning beds or face lamps.

Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity for those with sensitive skin. Avoid applying to sensitive areas such as the eyes, ears, nose and do not apply to broken skin.

Persons with known citrus allergies should avoid using CLEMENTINE Essential Oil.

QUESTION – HAVE YOU USED CLEMENTINE ESSENTIAL OIL BEFORE THIS CLASS? IF SO, WHAT DID YOU USE IT FOR?
